The 7th Annual Cadet Initiative was held at Rock Cut State Park. Six teams competed at eight activities. The activities included a drill off, a scored dinner, and Project X activities that are mentally and physically challenging.
Five of the past seven years the Lake-in-the-Hills team, Watson's Warriors, have won the event. This year the Kings were dethroned with a new team winning the event, the Black Sheep. The team was composed of three members from Lewis Composite Squadron, Cadets Kassis, Newman, and Reynoso, one from Lincoln Way Composite, Cadet Miller, and one from McHenry County Composite, Cadet Chappell.
The winning team takes to their home squadron the roaming trophy.
